Here is where you can find all the information that you will need for the 2012 Montgomery Sectional Pinewood Derby Race.

NOTE: This year we have again made it so you can register your cars online. To register online you can go to your Registration Page. We are asking that everyone please register online to help speed up the entire registration process.

Best of Show Option for 2nd car is back this year! Tired of having to make the decision to make a fast car or a good looking car? Well we have helped you solve the dilemma. Again this year you can enter your first car to race and register a second car to enter in the Best of Show. Only want to enter one car? No problem just like in years past your care will automatically be entered to race and will be judged in the best of show. If you wish to enter a second car for the best of show you will still need to register both cars but on the when registering the 2nd car choose Yes for the question Is this Car for Best of Show Only.
NOTE: Those cars that answer YES to "Is this car for best of show only" WILL NOT RACE!
The Montgomery Sectional opens it's pinewood derby race to the entire family. There are divisions for the different Royal Rangers, a division for girls up to age 18, a division for adult females 19 and up and a division for the adult males 19 and up. So contact your local outpost Commander and bring the entire family out to race.
Please remember that all cars that are going to be raced or entered into the Best of Show will have to be registered at Hunting Ride Church of God in Prattville between 7:00pm - 9:00pm Thursday February 16, 2012. Each entry will either need to be registered online or be accompanied by a registration form (please fill out both sides and staple the pages together if you don't have access to print two sided forms). If you register online you will still deliver the car during the registration times to complete the registration. Please download, read and go over the rules with all of the participants in this years race. There have been some things added to help cause less confusion on issues at registration and on race day. Also please provide a copy of the rules to all the parents and/or guardians so there will be less confusion and problems. If you have any questions that are not answered on this site or in the rules then please feel free to contact any of our sectional staff. When you print this out please print it on the front and back so there is just one sheet of paper to hand in at registration.
TIP: Fill out as much of the Division information that you can before you print out and make copies. You can fill out the information on your computer before you print it out.
These are the rules that will be followed during the 2012 Pinewood Derby race. Please print this out and make sure you explain these rules to all the individuals that will have a car entered into the race.
You can print this sheet out and design the side and top view of your car. Once you have your design you can even cut it out and trace the design on the actual block of wood.
